Ranch hand needed for general ranch work at ranch between Somerville and Snook, TX. We raise Registered Texas Longhorns. Job would include use of tractor (mowing, spraying), feeding cattle, hauling and distributing round bales, fence repair and building, general yard maintenance, assisting owner in working cattle, cleaning all work areas including barn, stalls and storage rooms. Cattle knowledge and handling skills are a requirement. Welding skills a plus. Looking for an individual that takes pride in their work, is neat and orderly, knows how to take care of equipment and tools; a self-starter who can work safely unsupervised. Some weekend work will be required. Work is primarily outdoors. Dependability and honesty are a must. Applicant must have references and good work history, current TX drivers license. Non smoking environment. Must pass a background check. Full time employment.
