Relocation assistance.Job Type: Full-time, Live-in, 14 days on, 7 days off (Housting and utilities provided)We are seeking Parent Teams and Individuals to fill the role of Houseparents in our residential community. As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for providing a safe and loving home environment for our residents while also serving as a mentor and advocate for their well-being.Responsibilities:- Serve as a positive role model and establish healthy relationships with the residents- Ensure the daily care and supervision of all residents according to their individual needs- Follow established protocols for the management of behavioral issues and crisis situations- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized plans of service for each resident- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the residents’ families and outside agencies- Attend and participate in all required meetings and scheduled trainings- Provide transportation and accompany residents to appointments, activities, and events- Manage household schedules, budgets, and inventories- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming loving environment for residents- Record and document resident activities, behavior, and progress in a timely and accurate mannerBGC is an equal opportunity employer and accredited through the Counsel on Accreditation and follow all TX Licensure guidelines.Qualifications:Have the ability to live on-site and work 24 hours per day, with an 14 day on/7 day off schedule.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must be cleared through a criminal background and FBI finger print investigation.Must be cleared through a drug panel testTuberculosis testingMust complete or have current CPR and First Aid training within 90 days of employmentMust attend pre-service training and complete at least 30 hours of in-service training annually.High School Diploma or state authorized high school equivalent certificate requiredBachelor's degree preferred but not required.A minimum of three years' job related experience.
