Sommelier Logistics seeks a talented Sales Representative with broad and diverse logistics experience to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in our growth and success. We are looking for someone that can identify leads that need transportation support utilizing rail, land, sea or air freight.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Utilize Microsoft products to manage sales activities, track leads, and report on sales performance.
Represent Sommelier Logistics at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.
Collaborate with marketing to create content and manage the company’s online presence to attract new clients.
Present tailored logistics solutions to clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or 3PL industry.
Diverse logistics experience, including domestic logistics, international shipping, or supply chain management.
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Tech-savvy with an understanding of TMS.
Comfortable with a commission-based compensation structure and motivated to achieve high earnings.
