Proactively source, qualify, negotiate, and present vendor engagement opportunities to the key decision makers in an assigned business unit
Extensive experience in facilitating RFP processes and vendor selections
Extensive experience in managing the contract process from contract draft to signature – negotiations on business terms and managing the change processes with MSAs, SOWs
Ensure the success of vendor engagement from quality, fulfillment, total cost elements
Collaborate with team members across assigned business units and spend owners
Define and implement category specific savings activities in alignment with area Indirect Strategic Sourcing management and Global Category Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree
8+ years in Sourcing / Procurement, specializing in IT – Hardware, Software, License Agreements, ERP
Experience leading global sourcing responsibilities, including opportunity analysis and identification, supplier selection, compliance and risk evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Ability to develop strategic sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives.
Ability to work independently with strong teamwork, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including, but not limited to, Legal, IT Security, and FP&A to provide end-to-end support to the business.
Ability to develop strategic sourcing strategies in alignment with business initiatives.
Working understanding of supplier market in respective area of focus
Ability to seek out new and innovative ways of approaching situations or tasks. Explores a range of possibilities for resolving a problem or issue.
Demonstrates confidence in own ability to carry out a task or job. Is confident in the face of opposition from others when expressing their views
