Being a member of the Cybersecurity Eng. & Ops Team, the Lead IT Security Engineer will be a subject matter expert (SME) for Cloud Security capabilities. As a SME, this position requires analyzing complex security issues to improve the overall posture of the company but evaluating new functionalities & ensure preparation for Production implementation.
Your Primary Responsibilities :
Responsible for providing 4th and 5th level support for tactical and strategic issues related to cloud security
Collaborate with the security engineering squads, Product Owners and transition coordinators to ensure smooth transition of the Cloud Operations related capabilities into production
Work closely with React and Enable Squads to identify opportunities for automation eliminating manual, mundane activities and improving machine learning capabilities along with providing content for security playbooks
Proactively identify deficiency in the security services, propose plans on improvement and implement them
Proactively participate in CS Operations activities such as trainings, audit prep and assessments, and ensure business as usual activities are completed accurately.
Talents Needed for Success:
5+ years of industry experience with AWS, Network security, and System security with demonstrated experience in Cloud Security tools like Aquasec and Dome9
Additional Cloud computing experience with Azure, Google Cloud Platform and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS) is preferred
Experience in patch management and vulnerability scanning, SIEM, Identity and Access Management is desired
Familiarity with industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements related to information security and cloud computing
Problem solving skills to resolve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism and integrity
One or more of the following certifications: Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), CISSP.
