New Wave Dave Pool Service is looking to hire a trustworthy and reliable Swimming Pool Service Technician to service and maintain our customers' swimming pools.
As a pool technician, your duties will include driving to the customers' location, testing the chemicals of the swimming pool water, adding needed chemicals, cleaning debris from customer's swimming pools, performing minor equipment repairs, and other duties as necessary.
To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have excellent knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with potentially hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:
Driving to customer’s location.
Maintaining swimming pool equipment and pool water chemical levels.
Testing swimming pool water and chemical levels.
Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment.
Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment as directed.
Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.
Any other duties assigned.
Pool Service Technician Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a pool technician is highly recommended.
Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods is recommended.
Knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties.
Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, and equipment repairs is a benefit.
Ability to lift heavy equipment.
Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
Professional appearance.
Loyalty and the drive to perform all duties with excellence.
Must have dependable truck (compensation provided), valid Driver’s License, and vehicle insurance.
