Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team. As a Diesel Fuel Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting diesel fuel from various loading terminals to various unload locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards. The pay is 1099 and per load.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain trucks and tanker trailers.
- Load and unload diesel fuel following proper procedures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including hours of service regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and documentation as required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as DOT regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a diesel fuel tanker driver.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 2 years.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading fuel.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
