Position: Routing Specialist
TMT is in search of a routing specialist to schedule and coordinate customer appointments effectively. This requires routing over 300 trips daily for 30 drivers. Duties include planning driver schedules, determining appointment length and making phone calls to customers regarding their appointment times. Must be computer savvy with high level of skills in excel. Create excel reports from each individual broker including total trip count and total miles assigned to TMT. Utilize TMT third party routing software to schedule routing, review, and optimize.
TMT is a family business specialized in transporting medicare patients from their residences to medical facilities and returning them home after they are done. We are the preferred non-emergency medical transportation provider for the top providers in the country. We're looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to come join us. Excel skills is A must, however software training will be provided.
Four year College degree with related experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications below.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field
Two years of college (60 credit hours) coursework in a related field
One (1) years of progressively responsible experience utilizing computerized Transportation Routing Software systems
Three (3) years of experience utilizing spreadsheet and word processing applications
One (1) years experience as a Router in a transportation related field
Verbal & written communication skills in English and Spanish and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
One (1) years experience utilizing computerized routing software applications
Knowledge of route planning and scheduling practices and procedures
