POSITION: Accounting Administrator / Book Keeper
The Book Keeper will maintain entries in QuickBooks / Excel and general accounting duties such as recording and maintaining financial transactions, invoices, and payments.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The candidate needs to be a self-starter who is able to multi-task effectively. Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills are essential. Expert knowledge with such applications as Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is required.
College degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
Strong written & oral communication skills are required.
2 + years of experience in related field preferred.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Typical duties include:
Preparing financial statements.
Daily entries in QuickBooks. Should be able to maintain it error free.
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations as required.
Tracking fixed assets.
Preparing the trial balance.
Work with Directors of the company to identify issues and problems related to accounting.
As needed administrative duties.
Maintain two company books
