Primary Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable/receivable cash receipts general ledger payroll and utilities
Assist with company employee benefits, such as paid time off, retirement, and insurance
Accounts payable/receivable (entering bills, paying them & invoicing)
Perform general ledger reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records
Utilize financial software to track expenses, revenues, and other financial data
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance productivity
Assist with budgets and financial planning
Job Requirements:
Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and accuracy
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Knowledge of budgeting processes is a plus
Experience:
Bookkeeping: 2 years experience preferred
Experience in accounting would be an asset
