This is a part time / full time remote work position for a bookkeeper as a 1099 Independent Contractor
Job duties will consist largely of:
- Working in Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online
- Entering and reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll reports
- Posting journal entries
- Generating monthly financials and reports
- Regular email & computer work
Skillsets required for this position are:
- A self-starter able to work independently, reliably, and consistently
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work well at the computer
- Enjoys working with numbers, follows instructions consistently, and is close tolerant for reporting and accuracy
- Person does NOT need to understand Quickbooks - we will train you - but QB experience and knowledge is a plus
- Eager and willing to learn and work in accounting
