The service consultant connects the customer, the technician, and vehicle repair by managing the repair…The service consultant must be an experienced, educated technician who uses common sense to sell the job.
Qualifications:
Excellent automotive experience (sound background)
5 years of work field experience or senior experience level.
Neat & organized.
Honesty, integrity, positive attitude & good appearance.
Skills Required:
Excellent communication skills… (Good listener, oral, following up, writing notes &…).
Able to use "Shop Management Program" software.
Good computer skills…(Microsoft Office & internet surfing).
Fluent in English (100%)
Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet customers and report customer complaints/concerns.
Focus on customer’s complaints, concerns, and problems & suggest solutions.
Recommends & explains the importance of "Preventive Maintenance".
Explain (in a simple term) how things work and the best way to avoid problems.
Prepare work estimates (cost & time).
Work closely (coordinate) with the "Master Technician" & help search for parts needed.
Use common sense to sell the job.
Selling the company's membership (elite membership)
Implement new ways & ideas to serve the customers better.
Good communication ends with satisfied & repeat customers, good word of mouth, happy staff, and reduced working hours.
