O'Brien Garage Doors is currently hiring dispatchers/customer service representatives. We are a family owned and operated company and are looking for more members to add to our team! We are looking for qualified candidates with a desire to be a part of our team for many years to come. Currently, we are particularly looking a part time candidate to work remotely approximately 4pm-7pm (slightly flexible on this). Part timer will need to come in to the office to train during the day for 2-3 months (depending how quickly you pick things up) and then will go remote in the evenings moving forward.
Pay structure (please read carefully):
Pay is a combination of base pay and bonuses. Starting base pay will be 11.00 per hour for training and until commission starts Once the representative is answering calls on their own/booking work orders on their own, commission will start and will be on top of hourly base pay. Full commission will be about 1-2 months in. Commission will be based on performance and will be paid out monthly. Most part time reps working these hours, after commission is paid out, average about 12-13 per hour. Phones will be slower in general during these hours than during the day.
Job Description:
Primarily answer customer inquiries as they call into the office and schedule work orders with them. Answer questions regarding pricing/scheduling. The reps also will take technician calls, complete out their work orders, dispatch them to their next work orders, and monitor their schedules.
Requirements:
Must be familiar with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Email
Must be able to type at least 50 wpm
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to pass a drug test
Responsiblities:
Answer phones to answer customer inquiries and set up work orders
Answer phones to handle technician completions and dispatching
Type in notes of calls and create/complete work orders
Take upset customer calls and handle them appropriately or get with appropriate managers
Work closely with city managers to make sure all complaints/inquiries handled appropriately
Must be able to quickly learn and become accustomed to our field of work
