Jemima's Playhouse is looking for team members to join our children's entertainment and education company within Atlanta and surrounding areas.
Jemima’s Playhouse is looking for performers who love working with children and have a special zazz that brings the signature Jemima’s Playhouse energy to the everyday classroom.
Jemima's Playhouse uses original dance, songs, stories, and activities to engage children in learning topics related to music, foreign language, and culture. We want team members that make every child feel like a somebody and embrace their inner performer.
Transportation - We are at different locations around the metro area each day so having your own reliable transportation is a MUST as well as being comfortable with driving to new locations each day.
Hours- This position in the company is perfect for a busy performer looking for a fun exciting way to supplement their income around show schedules, film shoots and such. Jemima’s Playhouse Performer hours average around 5-8 hours a week. We operate between the hours of 8 am-12 pm so you will be scheduled classes within that time frame. Instructors work anywhere from 3-4 mornings per week, so you still have mornings free for other jobs or classes!
Background Check- You must be able to pass a fingerprinted background check to be cleared to work in the schools we service.
Personality- This is one of the most important requirements for this position. We look for out-going, silly and fun performers who want to bring the joy of performing to the students we work with and serve. This is for someone who loves working with kids and is not afraid to let the big kid inside out! (Not for the Shy & Timid!)
General silliness is a huge bonus!
