I'm looking for someone to help me with measuring commercial properties. This is typically done with a laser distance meter to measure rooms and then transpose those measurements onto a floor plan sketch. The sketch can be on paper or a tablet.
Those measurements will be used to create As-Built 2D floor plans of the building or suite in AutoCAD.
Your sketch needs to be clear enough for someone else to work from and create a detailed drawing of walls, doors, windows, and millwork.
If you are also proficient in CAD, there is an opportunity for additional drafting work.
Right now, it will mainly be measuring.
95% of the measuring will need to be done during regular business hours.
Properties are all over the metroplex. Some small retail spaces. Large office spaces, industrial warehouse.
Any age group is considered.
