I’m a surveying office manager and technician with 30 years of experience in construction layout and project management. I'm currently looking for more job opportunities creating coordinates and documents for new construction layout. I would consider myself more old school producing txt/asc files with elevations and descriptions on every point that needs to be staked so the crew chief has no field calculations, this way even a young crew chief can be successful. When I calculate curb grades I check percentages to be sure the plans have efficient flow and RFI any issues or for additional grades, I assume nothing. I also provide stakeout sheets, dwg and dxf files with these points and elevations.
