POSITION: Staff Engineer
Structural Engineer will be responsible for engineering design / analysis of steel, concrete & wood structures. This position requires the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, follow up with team members to finalize projects on a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
EIT certification required
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural / Architectural Engineering required. Master's degree preferred.
Strong background in Steel, concrete & wood structural design required
Civil engineering design experience in drainage and roads preferred.
Finite element modeling experience required
Experience in MathCAD preferred
Lattice tower analysis / design experience preferred
Experience in STAAD preferred
Familiar with AutoCAD preferred
Be able to travel to sites to obtain field data.
Be able to make clear and detailed field sketches and notes.
Strong written & oral communication skills are required.
Job Duties:
Engineering design and review of new or existing structures.
Making field visits to obtain necessary data.
Perform calculations design plans as needed for structures
Guide design drafters on engineering drawings
Basic civil engineering and drainage design
Produce structural details in CAD.
Quality control review of drawings.
Other tasks as assigned.
