Position: Application Security

Location: Downtown Dallas, TX

Duration: 6 Months Contract(Possible extension/Conversion)

Day-to-Day:

• Advise developers on secure design and development
• Code Review, maintenance, and changes
• Develop application security test cases and plans
• Evaluate application security test reports and advise development teams on how to remediate issues

Job Description and Qualifications:

• Code review for security vulnerabilities & threats
• Knowledge of common software vulnerabilities, such as those in the OWASP Top 10
• Some development may be involved with more time spent in review
• Frameworks preferred: .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web Forms
• Knowledge of the languages and frameworks with the opportunity to learn and grow into the info sec side of development
• Able to clearly communicate technical issues with different audiences
• SDLC experience especially AGILE development

Plusses:

• Security certifications
• Experience with SAST tools such as WebInspect, InsightAppSec, HCL Appscan
• Experience with DAST tools such as Fortify
• Exposure to IT risk management
