Certified Welding Inspector - CWI

Manufacturing company that makes fabricated steel products needs Certified Welding Inspectors, also called CWI. This is a completely onsite position. The company provides wonderful benefits. You would work a four-day work week, 10 hours a day. Day and night positions are available. $35-40 per hour.This is an onsite position in your choice of working in Western Tennessee or the Florence, SC area. I am advertising to find people who might relocate. Relocation assistance is available.You will be responsible for onsite testing and inspection of fabricated steel assemblies designed to support heavy loads.Read and interpret fabrication drawings.Constant floor inspection and documentation of all manufacturing processes including Cutting, punching, shearing stamping, notching, welding and paint.The welding process is a GMAW Spray Transfer process.All necessary testing and personal protection equipment will be provided by the companyMaintain daily inspection recordsShould be experienced in inspection and test of structures and welds.Experience with Magnetic Particle, Dye Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic inspection (NDI) preferred.Must have at least three years of experience as a CWI.
