Manager Accounting

We are looking for a Manager Accounting to join our Rexel USA team in Dallas, TX!Summary:

The Manager Accounting is responsible for overseeing and managing Corporate Accounting functions including month-end, quarter-end, and annual close processes as well as supporting external audits. This role ensures timely, accurate financial results and supports process improvement initiatives, systems integrations and compliance with IFRS and Company policies and procedures.

What You'll Do: About 80% of this role will deal with the bank Reconciliation process and experience with the Trintech Reconnet tool will be a plusManage and mentor Accounting professionals. Responsibilities to include hiring and selection, performance management, performance goal setting, training, and developmentManage and coach Accounting team to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectivenessDevelop department objectives and ensure the development of individual objectivesManage the month-end close process, including reviewing and preparing journal entries, performing account analysis for completeness, and compiling ad hoc and consolidated US reportingPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accountsReview balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they are completed timely and accurately, and reconciling items are resolvedSupport the external audit throughout the year including preparing and reviewing requested schedulesWrite, review, or update accounting policy and procedures and communicate out to other departments as well as identify process improvement opportunitiesDrive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracyPartner with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Cash Apps, Credit, FP&A) to resolve accounting issues and implement business initiativesSupport accounting integration related to acquisitions.Special Projects as assignedPerform ad-hoc projects, accounting analysis, and routine accounting auditsOther duties as assignedJob Duties Disclaimer:
