The Doves Nest Restaurant is a famous destination restaurant in historic downtown Waxahachie, Texas just a short drive south (30 miles) from downtown Dallas. We have been in business for 30 years and have a reputation as one of the best small town restaurants in Texas. We have won numerous awards, been featured in Texas Monthly Magazine, Southern Living and Texas Highways, along with appearances on Good Morning Texas and Good Day Dallas TV shows.
We are looking for a cook in our upscale-casual 100 seat restaurant. We serve lunch only Monday - Saturday and do extensive off- premise catering, such as large weddings, corporate events and private dining. Full or part time openings with room for advancement and bonuses.
We need someone who wants to be part of a scratch made kitchen team. Our head chef has over 36 years experience with restaurants such as Rough Creek Lodge , Fort Worth's Ellerbe's and Clay Pigeon. We want someone who has a vision for our farm to table recipes, cutting edge catering and our unique position as an anchor business in a popular destination.
