The Broken Yolk Cafe is now open at its first location in Dallas Texas located in the brand new District 121 in McKinney. We are looking for part time Host/Hostess!
We close at 2pm Monday through Friday and 3pm on Saturday and Sunday meaning no evenings or nights so you get more time with your family. We offer competitive wages and flexible schedules along with some other benefits.

Host/Hostess
The primary role of the host/hostess is to greet each guest that comes to the Broken Yolk and to manage the seating/waitlist effectively. Because the host /hostess is often the first and last staff member seen by the
guest, he needs to be friendly, upbeat and able to communicate effectively with guests.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Greet all guests and show them to their table
Manage the seating wait list
Ring up and close out guest checks for To Go orders
Process gift card purchases
Take to-go food orders
Pack to-go food orders for pick up
In addition to these responsibilities, the host/hostess must have the ability and willingness to:
Follow the Broken Yolk system and standards
Learn and describe each item on the Broken Yolk menu
Operate a point-of-sale computer terminal
Follow proper cash-handling procedures
Follow verbal and written instructions
Communicate effectively with co-workers
Report to work on time each day
Maintain a positive attitude
Set a good example for co-workers
Work in a small or tight area
Work in a fast-paced and noisy environment
Stand for long periods of time
Bend, stoop or reach several times daily
Interact comfortably and communicate effectively with guests
