Barbecue Restaurant in Bedford, TX is looking for a General Manager to lead daily operations and drive overall store performance. This role for an experienced manager who takes full ownership of staffing, training, service standards, financial performance, and long-term operational stability.
Pay: $50,000 - $55,000+ DOE
Annual salary, paid biweekly

Job Requirements:
- Manage inventory, food costs, labor schedules, and budget controls to maximize performance.
- Complete daily operational checklists and audits to maintain quality, accuracy, and cleanliness.
- Hire, onboard, and train team members according to company standards.
- Develop a high-performing team through coaching, accountability, and ongoing training
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience with excellent service and food execution.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback, resolve concerns quickly, and build customer loyalty.
- Oversee catering operations, ensuring smooth execution, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor order accuracy and service speed and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and guests.
- Respond promptly and effectively to operational issues or emergencies.
- Must be able to work some weekends, holidays, and flexible to open and close.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 3+ years, preferably in barbecue or quick service
- Demonstrated success in leading large teams, training, performance management, and accountability.
- Strong business acumen, including P&L understanding, inventory management, and labor cost management.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to operational excellence.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Food Manager Certification or willingness to obtain within required timeframe.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
- Bilingual preferred
