Kitchen Supervisor/Cook

In this position, you are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen. You will be responsible for supporting, organizing, coordinating, and carrying out all BOH Operations. You will also be responsible for cooking and supervising all kitchen procedures. As the Kitchen Supervisor you will monitor inventory levels and store all food products in compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities:

- Assist in the management of kitchen operations

-Assists the line cooks in all food service operations and day-to-day operations of the kitchen

-Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes

- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met

- Manage inventory according to budget

-Ensure proper stock levels of ingredients and supplies

- Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures

- Monitor food production to ensure consistency and efficiency

- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

-Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures

-Supervise kitchen operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

-Provide support and direction to kitchen staff by ensuring execution of all employees’ duties

Experience:

- Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices

- Culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required

- Must have Food Handler Certification
