Elegant dining restaurant is seeking full/part time energetic and highly motivated servers and bartenders for a high-volume establishment.
Bartenders currently are making up to $35/hour (including tips) based on experience here.
Servers make close to $20-$30/hour (including tips) based on experience here.
Server Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers and treat them with excellent hospitality.
Foster a friendly, welcoming, and professional environment for customers.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the ordering POS system.
Take special note of food allergies or preferences and timely communicate to the kitchen staff.
Explain menu to the customers, answer any questions and make recommendations on menu selections to customers
Accurately and timely deliver food to the customers, making sure it is appealing before serving
Check in with the customers periodically to make sure everything is to customer's satisfaction.
Respond promptly to customers issues, escalating to management if necessary.
Collect timely payment from the customers and close the order accurately.
Clear the table for the next customer, keeping their section clean and prepared for new customers
Perform light cleaning in the dining, serving stations, or kitchen areas if needed. Help with basic food prep as needed.
Know and follow applicable food service safety standards
Bartender Responsibilities:
Must possess strong cocktail, wine and beer (bottle and draft) knowledge and experience
Responsible for mixing and serving drinks to customers according to recipe and portion control standards
Serving beer, wine and soft drinks
Preparing and serving mocktails in an efficient way
Enter orders and collect payments using the POS system from the customers
Take regular inventory of the bar
Cut, store and ensure product quality of perishables used in the beverage making
Required to work with Restaurant waiting staff
May take food orders in busy hours
Washing dishes such as glasses, utensils
Keeping the bar area clean and sanitized
Cleaning tables in the bar area
Ordering and maintaining bar supplies
Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for the customers
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age (over 18 for Server role)
Prior experience with using Point-of-Sale (Toast etc.) system
Must have basic math skills and detail-oriented
Some weekend availability is required.
Great opportunity for hospitality experience.
Current TABC Certification (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) or completion at hire.
