The Healthcare Billing Specialist is responsible for managing the billing process for medical services provided to patients.
Location: Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas – Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.
Pay: $18-20/hr. based on experience

Schedule: 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)
Job Description:
Processing medical claims, and facilitating medical billing payments from patients and insurance providers.
Prepare, submit and follow up on medical insurance claims to ensure processing and reimbursement.
Verify patient information and medical benefit coverage prior to billing.
Providing clear explanation of medical billing and payments options.
Assist patients with medical billing inquiries.
Preferred skills/experience:
Typing 25WPM
One year of healthcare or medical call center experience is required
Benefit verification - Prior Authorization
Medical collections
Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible
PAP - patient assistance programs
