I need a companion to help me run my daily life with multiple chronic conditions to help me remain in my own home.
Emotional support will be a large part of this job along with:
Daily stabilization through medications,
stretching and diet.
I find no 2 days are the same so ability to trouble shoot is required
. Some days I experience uncontrolled pain and fatigue so empathy and patience will be needed.
Basic cooking skills need to keep on blended diet.
Cleaning of personal colonic equipment.
Organization of wardrobe and support garments
Managing medical equipment with me, oxygen tank, nebulizer and dexcom insulin system.
Ability to help routines to achieve A1C goals
Tracking vitals and symptoms for doctors and the use of medical portals.
Ability to report back to my husband on progress.
Help with daily grooming.
Managing doctor appointments a visits with my care team through stabilization and planning and sometimes redirecting.
Ensuring follow up with my care plan is put into practice.
I have an electric wheelchair with lift equipment on my car. You would be willing to take me to appointments and would need a good driving record.
Pet care, bathing, brushing, cooking own dog food, we have 4 poodles.
Trust in care and ability to connect with me will be very important.
