Talent Acquisition SpecialistJob SummaryThe Full Lifecycle Talent Acquisition Specialist is a member of our corporate Human Resources department and is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from initial intake meetings with hiring managers to the final hiring stages. This role ensures that top talent is identified, screened, and brought through the recruitment process efficiently and effectively. The specialist will play a critical role in building strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their needs, and providing strategic recruitment solutions to meet organizational goals.With a hybrid work setup, applicants should be within commuting distance of one of our corporate offices in Irving, TX, San Diego, CA, or Arlington, VA.Education/CertificatesHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.College Degree preferred.Sourcing or Recruiting Certifications a plus.ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience required, including hands-on experience in conducting intake meetings, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, processing offers, and managing background check and onboarding processes.Proven ability to handle multiple requisitions simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience providing strategic guidance to hiring managers on candidate selection and recruiting best practices.Extensive experience in sourcing passive candidates through various channels, including social media platforms, professional networks, industry events, and direct outreach, to build a robust talent pipeline.Experience in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Experience using Workday preferred.Familiarity with various recruitment channels, including social media, job boards, and professional networks.Experience working for a recruiting or staffing agency or corporate recruiting department.Experience conducting structured interviews and assessing qualifications.Experience in conducting background checks and drug screens, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Experience with multi-state recruiting strongly preferred.Experience within the Multifamily industry a plus.Skills, Knowledge & AbilitiesStrong understanding of recruitment practices and techniques, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct thorough intake meetings and interviews and provide clear feedback to candidates and hiring managers.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.Proficient in analyzing recruitment metrics and data to make informed decisions and improve processes.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.High level of attention to detail, particularly in reviewing resumes, conducting screenings, and processing offers.Skilled in using recruitment software, ATS, and other HR technologies to streamline the recruitment process.Knowledgeable about employment laws and regulations, ensuring all recruitment activities are compliant.Essential DutiesManage full-lifecycle recruiting of open requisitions within the assigned region, ensuring timely and effective hiring to meet business needs.Partner with hiring managers to provide guidance on candidate selection and recruiting best practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.Conduct thorough intake meetings with hiring managers to understand requisition requirements, including job descriptions, qualifications, and desired candidate profiles.Review resumes, screen candidates, and identify top talent for further consideration, ensuring alignment with position requirements.Actively source passive candidates through various channels, including social media, professional networks, and job boards, to enhance candidate pipelines.Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring efficient and timely communication.Gather feedback from hiring managers post-interview to assess candidate fit and make informed decisions.Manage the offer process, including preparing offer letters, negotiating terms, and ensuring a smooth transition to onboarding.Order background checks and monitor results until cleared for hire, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.Completes company required training by established deadline.Complies with all Fairfield standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
