The Assistant Jobsite Superintendent will work along side the Jobsite Superintendent providing support for the day to day operations for the construction of a 4 story hotel. Duties include, but are not limited to; Ensure work is being done per plans and specifications, checking in deliveries, maintaining accurate records of materials storage, operating fork lift, misc. administrative duties including; emails, Microsoft Word, filing, reports etc. and maintaining a clean job site. Assistant Superintendent will also direct, monitor and report subcontractor activities in the absence of the Superintendent.
This position will work 40 hours per week and is considered a temporary position. Long term employment may be considered for the future based upon performance.
Skills required to be considered for this position:
*Previous construction experience
*Certified forklift operator
*Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
*Basic Administrative skills: email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
*Interact with subcontractors and co-workers in a professional manner
