MEI Auto Group is currently seeking a Lot Porter. This position is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the customer service and inventory needs of the dealership. This position interacts daily with the Service Advisors, Service Managers, support staff, and customers.
Responsibilities:
Clean out customers property of all repossessed vehicles and follow the property removal process
Raise all windows of cars or cover with crash wrap daily to protect the vehicle.
Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
Drive vehicles to and from various locations as needed for customer service and deliver them to the correct storage area. Transport vehicles when needed.
General mechanical knowledge to be able to jump start and drive vehicles.
Must be able to lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.
Ensure interior and exterior building facilities are always kept up to company standards.
Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Assist with tagging of customer cars and trucks.
Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
Ability to work outdoors in any inclement weather for several hours.
Perform other duties as needed when instructed by management.
Part of this person’s responsibilities will be working as a spotter for the Recovery Department. This includes running addresses, door knocking to get information, etc.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Mon. - Fri., 9am – 6 pm. Occasional Saturdays
Salary: $16-17 (Depending on Experience)
