Bilingual-Production Group Lead Operator:
1st Shift-5:30am until 2PMSome weekends as Needed
A lead production operator manages production activities, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and trains and mentors production staff:
Production management: Develops and implements production schedules and workflows, and ensures production goals are met
Quality control: Conducts quality control tests and audits, and ensures products meet quality standards
Safety and compliance: Ensures compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements, and enforces company policies and procedures
Training: Trains and mentors production staff on equipment and processes, and ensures they are knowledgeable about department policies and procedures
Equipment maintenance: Troubleshoots and minor repairs faulty equipment, and ensures equipment is in good condition and operating properly
Production issues: Monitors production performance, identifies areas of improvement, and takes corrective action as needed
Work environment: Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Communication: Communicates production status and issues to supervisors, group leaders, peers, and other employees
Inventory: Monitors inventory levels and ensures proper stock rotation
