We are seeking a skilled Semi Paint and Body Technician to join our team. If you’re experienced in painting and repairing semi-trucks, take pride in your craftsmanship, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality paint jobs on semi-trucks, including prep work, priming, and finishing.
Repair and restore body damage (dents, scratches, rust, etc.) using industry-standard tools and techniques.
Sand, mask, and tape surfaces to ensure clean and professional paint application.
Match colors and mix paints to meet customer specifications.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
Reliable is a must! Shop hours are Monday to Friday 8:00-5:00 with potential for overtime depending on work load.
Must have your own tools.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an auto body technician, painter, or similar role (semi-truck experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials (e.g., spray guns, HVLP systems).
Ability to perform body repairs, including welding, sanding, and box truck repairs and panel replacement.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch results.
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
Certification from a trade school or program, e.g., ASE or I-CAR, is a bonus.
