Warehouse Rack Company is looking for driver/installers with experience or willing to learn.
Most of our installations are in the DFW Metro area however some travel may be necessary.
Duties:
Drive a pickup truck (daily) and haul material (as needed) to worksites
Install pallet rack and other storing systems using a combination of physical labor, forklift, scissor lift and hand tools.
Ensure installation projects meet design instructions.
Exercise and encourage proper safety practices at all times.
Communicate effectively with supervisor.
Effectively use a variety tools properly to optimize productivity.
Utilize sound decision making and problem solving practices.
Work efficiently with others to achieve team goals.
Be onsite and ready to work by 7:00am, Monday - Friday
Education and Experience
Have a driver license and a clean driving record.
Experience driving a vehicle while hauling a trailer
Ability to use a variety of hand and electric tools.
Forklift certifications preferred.
Ability to work on a team and on individual tasks
Must be coachable and have a desire to learn new skills
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, vendors and subcontractors
Must be able to stand and work for long hours with necessary tools and PPE
Must be able to lift up to or in excess of 75 pounds regularly as well as climb and kneel semi regularly
Must be able to work on heights.
