Responsibilities:

Estimate Preparation:

Provide customers with clear and transparent explanations of estimated costs and repair processes.
Customer Interaction and Communication:
Communicate with customers to schedule appointments for vehicle assessments and estimate reviews.
Explain estimate details and answer any questions or concerns raised by customers.
Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, providing updates on timelines and progress.
Collaboration with Repair Technicians:
Work closely with repair technicians to ensure accurate assessment of vehicle damage and alignment of repair strategies with estimated costs.
Communicate any changes or adjustments to estimates based on additional damage discovered during the repair process.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure that all estimates adhere to company pricing guidelines and industry standards.
Review completed repairs to verify that work was completed according to estimate specifications and customer expectations.
Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to automotive repair estimating.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the estimating and repair workflow.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an estimator in the automotive repair industry, preferably with expertise in hail damage repair.
Proficiency in using estimating software and tools to calculate repair costs accurately.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
