POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of a Stain Shop Specialist is to feed product through production machinery and to ensure product is kept in a clean and organized manner.
PAY: $16 per hour, we pay weekly
Schedule: 5:30am to 2:30pm Monday - Thursday. Friday 5am to 9:30am
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Responsibilities
Feeds product through production machinery to apply stain
Inspect boards for imperfections, blemishes and/or damages
Complete all work orders accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures
Ensure that safe work practices are followed and adhered to
Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service
Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must have to ability to make sound judgment that is required while driving a forklift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Education:
o High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
1+ year experience in a warehouse position
Experience with building materials a plus
Must be able to work overtime as needed
Ability to read and write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, orders etc.
Good hand-eye coordination, concentration skills and a demonstrated attention to detail
