Project Manager Job Description:
Creates, plans, and oversees specialized telecommunications construction projects from conceptual development through completion.
Plans and compiles detailed budget plans and creates persuasive bid proposals to ensure the success and profitability of the projects.
Bids the work to be performed to potential and existing customers, explaining technical plans and processes and answering customer questions.
Oversees construction project organization, work scheduling, budgeting and execution. Performs preconstruction duties, including meeting with city inspectors and discussing job tasks and plans prior to construction.
Creates budgets, Scope of Work (SOW), project schedules and task lists, develops project strategies, and monitors all project progress.
Schedules the work to be performed, organizing the workflow by routing correspondence, communicating and coordinating with the other Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure that Foremen and workers meet strict deadlines and deliver timely results to meet the Clients expectations.
Projects financials and reviews job tracks with Administrator to capture the revenue and track previous weeks production and coordinates with Administrator to identify if any progress billing that can be reviewed during the Weekly PNL (Profit And Loss) meeting.
Responsible for sending out revised quotes for change orders to customers for the changes made in the scope of work.
Reviews project related As-Builts items submitted by the construction manager before final server upload. Ensures on track project timelines, maintaining constant communication with construction manager and the foreman.
Prepares Weekly Packages, including Production reports, As-Builts, Construction Drawings (CDs) and Vehicle inspections to be addressed with the crew before turning the package, which includes Reviewing CDs, Goal for the particular day, reviewing production done by the particular crew, and As-Builts-making sure project is built according to approved Engineering plans.
Drives out the job; Hands work to project foremen ensuring that Construction Manager provides Foreman all information required to understand the entire scope of the project. Quality Checks work performed and makes sure all is completed in an efficient and organized manner.
Ensures that Foremen and Construction Managers discuss any dangers involved, customer notifications needed, permit requirements, time frames in completing the job. Inspects the job to ensure quality is maintained and updates the project management team on any changes or corrections needed and ensures changes are addressed immediately to close out job and bill the customer.
Delivers Redlines to the customer so that they are aware of what work has been completed. Performs Job Complete Report, notifying the Construction Manager the job has been completed and Project Manager inspects the job making sure it meets Customers requirements and quality, allowing company to send out an invoice to the Customer.
Closes the job, making sure the job is final with 100% As-Built submitted to the Customer and billing has been sent out.
Qualifications:
Pay is based on experience. Preferred to have Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering, 12 months’ experience as Construction Manager, Project Coordinator or Related Telecommunications Construction. Special Requirements: Must know MS Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Construction Manager Job Description:
Manage the construction of the project, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure safety on the job site, pre-cons, monitoring of the crew’s progress, crew evals, making sure daily production goals are met.
You will provide support to handle any field related issues that may arise throughout the project.
CM’s will be responsible for making weekly packages for the crew and if any change orders are need for out-of-scope work.
CM will be responsible for As-builts, driving out the job and closing the job.
Qualifications:
Pay is based on experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Management or Engineering, 12 months’ experience as Construction Manager, Project Coordinator or Related Telecommunications Construction. Special Requirements: Must know MS Project, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Groundman Job Description:
This an entry level position in the construction, maintenance and repair in telecommunication. The position will be required to travel to depending on project demands. Under general supervision, performs a variety of manual labor tasks such as cable placement, place conduit, maintenance, wrecking, or repair work in trenches or manholes.
Qualifications:
Previous 1+ years’ construction or handyman experience (Can be new to this exciting and growing trade! Will train!)
Valid driver’s license with MVR printout
