Looking for a sign installer. Work is never electrical. Involves screwing panels to posts, digging holes, standing sign up, taking pic, moving on to next job. I do not want to waste your time or mine so I will provide as many details as possible. This job requires you to work outside and majority of time work alone. You are provided a company truck & all tools needed to complete the work. 99% of days are 4-6 hours but you get paid for 8 hours. A few days a year you will be asked to work 8+ hours if we are behind because of weather. You will be provided a company credit card for material purchases, gas etc this card is monitored all day so if you are a thief or can't be responsible with a credit card do not apply. If you have a violent criminal past do not apply. If you can not pass random drug tests do not apply. If you do not have a valid drivers license, reliable transportation and a phone with gps and texting ability to not apply. You will be given a list of work to complete every day. If you wish to hustle and start early and go home by noon every day no problem. If you need to do family thing in the mornings and come in at 9am- no problem. As long as the work gets done and done right I can work with most any schedule. I am in my 29th year of biz and most of my employees have been here 10-20 years. Here are a few down sides to working here- we are a small biz. Very small- less than 8 people. We do not generate the kind of big companies do, hence we can not offer insurance or 401k of any kind. You will never be rich working here. This work is not fancy or sophisticated with cool job titles. A few positives of working here- we are a small biz- we do not have the politics and bs of working for a big company. You will know what is expected- do your job, get paid, repeat. You will never get rich, but you can steadily pay your bills here. We do offer paid time off, paid holidays and personal days. Everyone here is pretty chill and gets along well with no drama. I can train almost anyone to do this job- not hard to understand. If you have basic carpentry experience like how to use a drill, saw, level that is a plus but can also be taught in a very short time. The job requires you being physically healthy as you will have to load and unload a truck every day with lumber, plywood panels, concrete and tools. When it is 105 degrees or 20 degrees the work will still need to get done. Digging holes to stand signs up can be hard-depending on the ground, weather, time of year etc That is the main reason you only work 4-6 hours a day- so you have the energy to do the job right and not suffer burn out. I have had a woman installer before. 5ft 4" 145lbs but she was a bad ass and did everything the guys did and did it well. Any fit man can do this job. I do not want any violent criminals here, BUT if you have a non-violent criminal past and are having a hard time finding a job and could use an honest 2nd chance we may be a good fit for you. Over the years I have had white people, black people, mexican people, women, gay people, 18 year olds, 60 year olds and everything else. I only care if you have a good attitude and can do the work. If interested please email your resume or just tell me about yourself and feel free to ask any questions. Thank you, Brian
