Job Title: Janitorial Services
Reports To: Facilities Manager or Building Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Janitorial Services personnel are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in assigned buildings or facilities. This includes performing routine cleaning, disinfecting, and light maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are presentable and functional for employees, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and carpets.
Dust and wipe surfaces, including desks, tables, fixtures, and equipment.
Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners as needed.
Wash windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as required.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, etc.).
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly (doorknobs, switches, handles, etc.).
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.
Follow proper cleaning procedures and use cleaning chemicals safely according to training and safety data sheets (SDS).
Secure buildings after hours by locking doors and ensuring alarm systems are functioning.
Perform special cleaning projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Prior janitorial or custodial experience desirable.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment use.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the facility.
May involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, odors, and varying temperatures.
Work Schedule is Monday - Friday we are looking for Evening Janitors to join our company.
