The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and unpack shipments
Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
Perform inventory controls and keep accurate records of stock
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely
Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and security
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through cycle counts and audits
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a warehouse associate or similar role
Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
Basic computer skills for inventory management
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
