Job Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team, and ensure efficient processes are in place.
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour (Overtime is $31.50/Hour)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff.
- Coordinate and prioritize activities to meet operational needs
- Oversee inventory management and maintain accurate records
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines and procedures, including OSHA standards
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material handling
- Drive process improvements to enhance productivity
- Train and mentor warehouse employees on best practices
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in team management within a warehouse setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, E-commerce platforms, and inventory control
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices
- Ability to drive process improvement initiatives
- Certified forklift operator with hands-on experience
- Prior experience in warehouse management is a plus
