MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE

Floor work (Hardwood floor experience) and carpet care duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to, scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extracting, and mopping.

Review assignment(s) with the Supervisor.

Gather necessary/required equipment and products. Safety belts must be worn while performing each and every work assignment.

Inform the lead person of completed assignment(s).

Record time worked and products used.

The following break/lunch schedule applies to all custodians and floor crew personnel: when assigned to an eight (8) hour shift, a 10 minute break will be taken after 2 hours of work, a 30 minute lunch break will be taken after 4 hours of work, and another 10 minute break will be taken 2 hours after the end of the lunch break. There will be no exceptions or variations to this

schedule unless an emergency occurs which delays or prevents adherence to this schedule.

Wet floor signs must be used at all times, including work on both carpets and tile. Absolutely no exceptions under any circumstances.

Inform the lead person immediately of any problem or situation which prevents the completion of an assignment or which causes an assignment to be completed in a substandard manner.

All company safety rules and regulations must be met and adhered to at all times. Absolutely no exceptions. Violations will result in disciplinary action.

Company vehicles must be kept in a safe, neat, and orderly condition at all times.

Apply paste or liquid wax to floor with rags or machine

Remove waste paper, garbage and recycling from the premises to selected area; damp wipe containers

Perform preventative maintenance check on all equipment prior to use at beginning and end of the shift

Move furniture, equipment & supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.

Any other related duty as directed by the MBM, LLC. Manager.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met and by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally or regularly required to perform the following repetitive movements:

Sitting, walking, standing, bending (neck), bending waist), squatting, climbing, keeling, crouching, stooping, twisting (neck), twisting (waist), and talk or hear.

Repetitive use of hands to finger, arms (left and right) for:

Simple grasping

Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls

Fine manipulation

Pushing

Pulling

Reaching (above and or below shoulder level with hands and arms)

Keyboarding with both hands

Lifting and Carrying object(s) from floor, table, and shelves over head or distance.

Working around equipment and machinery

Walking on uneven ground

Exposure to noise

Exposure to dust, gas, fumes, cleaning products and noise

Working at heights

Working with biohazards such us:

Blood borne pathogens

Sewage

Hospital waste and others.

Must be able to lift and stack objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert 10 to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects

Indoor/ out-door work environment with exposure to weather extremes.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
