Position Summary:
The Interior Design Intern will assist with various operational and creative tasks, primarily focusing on inventory management, social media marketing, and reporting. This is a dynamic role that requires self-motivation, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to complete tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Organize, track, and manage inventory, including design materials, samples, and other resources.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and ensure timely restocking as needed.
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth inventory operations.
Social Media Marketing:
Generate engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
Schedule and post content regularly, aligning with the firm’s branding and marketing goals.
Interact with followers and respond to comments or messages professionally and promptly.
Reporting and Analytics:
Track and analyze performance metrics for social media campaigns.
Prepare reports summarizing insights and suggest improvements to enhance engagement and reach.
Administrative Support:
Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks as assigned.
Communicate progress regularly and proactively report any challenges or delays.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and branding consistency.
Strong technical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Canva is a plus.
Current student or recent graduate in Interior Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
