About Us
PondMedics is a family-owned company with 20+ years of experience helping communities, businesses, and individuals care for their ponds, lakes, and stormwater systems. Our mission is to give life to surface and stormwater and the people it supports. We operate our business as a ministry, which means our impact goes beyond our work—we actively give back to non-profits and invite our team to participate in meaningful opportunities to serve.
The Role
We’re seeking a full-time Content Creator who will serve as a storyteller, strategist, and on-site ambassador for our brand. This person will help us communicate the stories of people, projects, and purpose through the lens of transformation and redemption—showcasing how our business operates as a ministry. Using the StoryBrand marketing framework, this role turns real moments from the field into meaningful digital content that informs, inspires, and connects with our audiences across social media, email, and video platforms.
Core Responsibilities
1. Story Discovery & Field Engagement
Visit active project sites several times weekly to capture behind-the-scenes stories that highlight the uniqueness of each project, the personality of the team, and the “why” behind our work.
Interview team members and clients to uncover authentic stories of transformation, redemption, and purpose.
Build trusting relationships with field crews and project leaders to help them feel comfortable sharing their stories naturally.
2. Content Creation & Publishing
Develop, write, film, and edit engaging content (video, photo, and written posts) for social media, website, and digital newsletters.
Follow the StoryBrand framework to ensure every story positions the company as the guide and the client/team as the hero.
Maintain a consistent visual and narrative style that aligns with brand standards and ministry values.
Manage a weekly content calendar, including social media scheduling, captions, hashtags, and engagement tracking.
3. Data-Driven Growth & Performance
Track and report engagement metrics (reach, views, comments, shares, conversions) across all social media platforms.
Identify what stories, topics, and formats are most effective, and continuously improve strategy based on data insights.
Set and evaluate quarterly goals for content output (e.g., number of videos/posts per week) and engagement benchmarks (e.g., average watch time, follower growth, etc.).
