THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION
We’re currently looking for a seasoned graphic designer with experience in web design layout. We are a 25-year-old e-commerce company with a unique product offering and a well-established reputation in our space.
The ideal candidate for this position would have experience working with other designers and/or web developers to ensure a functional and attractive website. The ideal candidate will be able to shape the visual aspects of websites, product packaging, and branding display. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.
We currently use WordPress, Elementor, and Magento, experience in these would be ideal but not necessarily required.
Responsibilities
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Working with developers and designers to create a design strategy
Selecting and editing images for the website
Choosing fonts and color schemes for the website
Testing Sites to ensure that they are working correctly
Schedule projects
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Develop illustrations, logos, and other designs using software
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Skills
Proven graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Training in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
