Baldwin Metals is a custom machining and fabrication company. Our machinist are required to work from blueprints, sketches and sample parts. We have Haas CNC and Quick Mill machines and computer and programming software available.
You need to have 5 years' experience in machining equipment.
You must be capable of programming at the machine, selecting the necessary tooling, speeds and feeds and potential improvements.
You will be required to set up and run your own work as well as set up machines for other operators.
You will be required to run a manual lathe, CNC lathe and CNC mill. We will provide instructions for safely operating each piece of equipment and will review the programs that you develop.
The interview process includes a written test, personal interview and a hands-on machining test. For the hands-on test you will be given a print, a piece of carbon steel and tooling.
Pay ranges from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on skill and experience.
