3-5 yrs a experience Preferred
Must have basic Hand Tools – they provided specialized tools
Shift: 1st – 7:30a – 5:00p
2nd – 9:30pm – 8am
This person is responsible for the production of food safe product. They must follow all safety standards. The must complete preventative maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot plant equipment. They must follow all proper sanitary standards. Prefer experience Fillers, Cappers, Case Packers, pumps, pneumatics, gear boxes, conveyors, belts, and drives.
Essential Functions:
1. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly PMs.
2. Troubleshooting machinery and correcting, adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment as needed.
3. Responsible for the installation of new equipment.
4. Responsible for proper cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop.
5. Responsible for the proper functional of all facility equipment.
6. Must follow all proper safety and LOTO programs.
7. Must keep all tools in proper sanitary and working condition.
Food Safety:
1. Maintain proper sanitary tools
2. Monitor all processing equipment for proper working condition
3. Complete daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance tasks
Education and Experience Required:
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. College or high school graduate preferred.
3-5 years of maintenance experience. Knowledge of preventative maintenance controls. Food production maintenance preferred. Welding experience preferred.
Responsibility for the Work of Others:
Organize duties and responsibilities among mechanics to ensure that GMPS, food safety and quality procedures are followed. Monitor the completion of all PMs.
