Shop Mechanic Helper
The pay rate is 18.00 to 20.00 an hour
The job location is in Irving, Texas
Monday thru Sunday-
6:00 am to 4:00 pm
Temp to Perm- This is a permanent job that will convert permanent for the right individual
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
Support skilled workers by preparing work areas, cleaning up, and organizing tools.
Perform basic tasks such as lifting, carrying, and arranging materials.
Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
Assist in assembling, moving, or disassembling equipment as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Need solid mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination, and excellent manual dexterity.
At least 3 years related experience.
Must be willing and able to work regular overtime including weekends and some holidays, and either day or night shift.
Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
