Serco Mfg. Co. has an opportunity for an experienced person to run our growing powder coating department. We currently have four batch booths, a large Iron Phosphate dip line system, one large powder coat line with a 7 stage Zirconium wash and a Wet Paint Booth. We are looking for someone organized and motivated to supervise this finishing department for quality and efficiency. This supervisor position does not require supervising experience for hiring but we will expect that the person must be able to learn how to use the lines quickly to manage them.
2 years Minimum of Powder Coating Experience Required (non-negotiable)
Must be able to use basic computer skills.
Must be able to communicate and make sure employees understand duties and tasks.
Must be able to plan schedules, make goals and make deadlines.
Must be able to trouble shoot and perform Quality Assurance Inspections.
Must be safety conscious and strong focus on improving operations.
English is Required, Spanish is strongly recommended.
Must understand the fundamentals of powder coating adhesion, application and curing processes.
Must ensure titrations of pre-treatment tanks are accurate.
Must be reliable and on site/on time every workday.
