Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Production Foreman to support daily operations at our slat wall panel manufacturing facility. This role will assist the Plant Manager in overseeing safety, production, quality control, logistics, and workforce management, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing all aspects of plant operations including production, maintenance, inventory, and scheduling
Support the implementation of safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
Monitor production output and help optimize workflow to reduce downtime and increase productivity
Train, supervise, and motivate shop floor personnel; provide guidance on performance improvement
Help manage raw material procurement and inventory control in coordination with the supply chain team
Ensure proper use and maintenance of machinery and equipment
Serve as acting Plant Manager when the Plant Manager is unavailable
Qualifications
Associate's or high school degree or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role; experience in wood, panel, or building materials industry strongly preferred,
Cabinet shop or equivalent experience preferred,
Knowledge of slat wall panel manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials (e.g., MDF, laminates, CNC routing, edge banding, etc.) is a plus
Proven ability to lead teams, troubleshoot production issues, and drive operational improvements
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Experience in Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment (noise, dust, variable temperatures)
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate machinery as needed
