Seeking skilled SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Machine Operators to join our production team
in Arlington, TX. The SMT Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring the
accurate placement of electronic components and performing quality checks to meet production standards. The ideal candidate
should have experience in electronics assembly, familiarity with IPC-610 standards, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor SMT machines to ensure accurate and
efficient electronic component placement.
Load and unload feeders while ensuring proper setup and
alignment.
Inspect components and assemblies to identify and correct defects.
Create and modify oven profiles for reflow soldering processes.
Operate solder printers, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on SMT machinery to optimize performance.
Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment maintenance, and any defects.
Follow safety procedures and company guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years of experience in electronics assembly, particularly with SMT equipment.
Knowledge of component identification and familiarity with IPC-610 standards.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials,
and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing
production needs.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended
periods.
